We believe that good nutrition is vital for good mental and physical developments so we provide fresh home cooked meals for all children in our care. Using fresh, organic and wholegrain ingredients wherever possible, our cook works within a 'food framework' that ensures variety within the weeks menu.

Five different themes are covered in a week (in differing orders).

Drinks:

The children are offered from a selection of Organic milk, diluted fruit juice, organic squashes & water.

Snacks:

The children are offered both organic biscuits & fresh fruit as snacks mid morning & mid afternoon.

We try to encourage children to develop a love of food by introducing them to a variety of textures and flavours. We do not expect all children to eat everything on their plate and they are allowed pudding even if they don’t eat all their main course!! We use cooking and gardening as activities to try to make food fun and let children get ‘hands on’ in both the growing and preparation of yummy grub!!
